In compliance with provincial requirements and recommendations by the Cosmetology Association of New Brunswick:

• Enhanced and stringent disinfection and sanitization protocols have been implemented.
• Plexiglass barrier has been installed
• Hand sanitization and hand washing station has been installed
• Staff will require the use of personal protective equipment (including mask, gloves, etc).

• Only one client will be allowed in the salon at a time. 
• No children. 
• Punctuality is important to allow the previous client time to exit the salon yet complete your appointment before the next client arrives.
•  Masks must be worn upon entering the salon (masks are available for $2)
•  Clients must sanitize and/or wash their hands prior to receiving any service.
• Please limit personal items in the salon to your phone, keys and form of payment.

• Name, phone number and date upon completion of questionnaire is required by the province in the event of contact tracing.
  
• Failure to answer the questionnaire or answering yes to any screening questions prohibit entry into the salon and services will be withheld. 

1. Do you have at least two of the following symptoms: fever, sign of a fever, (hot or chills), a new or worsening cough, sore throat, runny nose, headache, new onset of fatigue or muscle pain, diarrhea, loss of taste or smell? 
2. Have you travelled outside of New Brunswick in the past 14 days? 
3. Have you travelled to Zone 5, or been in close contact with anyone in zone 5 in the last 14 days?
4. Have you been in close contact in the last 14 days with someone who has been tested for covid-19 or has a probable or co firmed case of covid-19?

As a small business owner, the additional costs for increased disinfection and sanitizing procedures and PPE required to provide services to each client are significant.  As such, I find myself in the regrettable position of adopting a $5 surcharge for client services ONLY for the duration of these additional requirements.
